the first 11 lessons are available, totaling over 450 pages
of text, graphics, quizzes, exercises, and homework assignments.
More lessons will be added in the future. The lessons are $14.95

charts and tables so that there is less ambiguity and confusion
in the learning process.
"I have read Lesson
11 and it is very good, as all your lessons are. I particularly
liked the contrast you drew between Gandhi's and Hitler's charts
although they have the same ascendant and similar influences.
Am eagerly awaiting Lesson 12! - H.S.
"I
really appreciate the wonderful and clear format of teaching
you have. I think you are an excellent teacher." - M.M.

| What
is Vedic Astrology? |
 |
Vedic
astrology is the traditional system of astrology of India that
is at least 4000 years old. It is also known as Jyotish, Indian
astrology, Eastern astrology, or Hindu astrology. It has recently
gained popularity in the West because of its accuracy in predicting
events and major trends in our lives. Vedic astrology is an
excellent tool for helping us understand our dharma
or life purpose as well as for giving us specific timetables
for making decisions about career, finances, relationship, health,
spiritual growth, etc. It is based on the sidereal zodiac which
calculates the positions of the planets according to observable
astronomy.

Vedic astrology becomes the most interesting when you see it
working in people's lives, especially popular celebrities. The
Astro-Profile articles are lengthy well-researched lessons full
of practical examples, which makes learning fun, intriguing
and engaging.
The latest Astro-Profile article is entitled, The
Dashamsha Chart: The 10th Part of Glory. Without the use
of divisional charts Jyotish is a "crude affair and blunt
instrument" my teacher says. This article teaches how to
refine our interpretive skill through the use of the Dashamsha
chart, the key division for career success. It uses quotes from
classic texts and examples to show what yogas and planetary
positions bring success. It also shows detailed examples of
how to use the dashamsha for birth time rectification.
By analyzing the charts of Mark Hammil, Cary Grant, Wilt Chamberlain,
Padre Pio, Richard Bach, Meryl Streep, Gerald Ford, George Lucas,
Lord Byron, Herman Hesse and many others the principles of using
the Dashamsha chart come alive.
